Our History

A1 IT Web Design was launched in 2009, as a branded product from our parent company A1 IT Compliance Ltd. After working within the IT group of a large multi-national pharmaceutical company for well over a decade, A1 IT Compliance was formed in 2006 by Debbie and Trev Simmons, to provide customers with assurance that IT solutions are delivered to a high standard and comply with applicable international regulations.

 

Much of Debbie's working history has involved building and administering intranet sites and content management systems including documentum and MOSS. It is this experience of working the web to provide easy and intuitive access to information along with a flare for design that Debbie brings to the A1 IT Web Design brand.

 

Trev originally started as a programmer building database applications from single user systems to global systems for thousands of users. His ability to develop back-end coding and data manipulation combines perfectly with Debbie' s front-end flair to ensure that A1 IT Web Design provides well-rounded solution. After all, would you buy a car with the body of a Ferrari with the engine of a milk float? Then why would you want a website with flashy looks that grinds to a halt as soon as you try to use it?
